Steel strapping offers the strongest strapping available for palletising goods, ready for a secure journey. The characteristics help the strapping achieve this, a property of steel strapping in a low elongation, this helps it achieve a high tension, helping secure the products. It is best suited to a stable load, if the load is to settle down and move the pallet will now not be tensioned correctly.

Three sizes of steel strapping are sold, a 13mm, 16mm, and 19mm, with break strains between 600 and 900kg. The strapping has had sheered and dressed edges to improve handling, but when cutting steel strapping, extra care must be taken, due to the coil back nature of the strapping once cut, it could cause injury.
