Heat Sealers
Heat sealers are used to seal polythene bags or to create bags from layflat tubing. Packaging GB sell a range of heat sealers between 200mm and 500mm wide, available with or without cutters.
To create a sealed bag, place the bag in between the sealer to close the bag, creating a 2mm seal, release manually when the seal is complete. Pair with an unroller and a heat sealer table to simplify the process further.
The impulse heat sealers can seal PE/PP/PVC films up to 800 gauge thickness. Using a heat sealer as part of your production line will offer increased protection to the items inside the bags, maintaining the item in a pristine condition and reducing damaged items and lost stock.

The impulse heat sealers come with a 12 months return to base warranty, however this does not cover consumable parts.

Heat sealers without cutters are used to seal pre-cut bags, using heat to melt two sides of plastic together. To create a strong seal, place the plastic you wish to seal within the heat sealer, and close the handle to melt the plastic and create a seal. Heat sealers with cutters are used to create bags from layflat tubing. The advantage with layflat tubing is the ability to create custom sized bags easily. Place the tubing in the heat sealer, close the handle and allow the plastic to seal, then cut the tubing. PackagingGB offer a range of heat sealer with cutter sizes from 200mm up to 500mm.
