When deciding how to packaging your products, determining the effect the packaging has on the environment is a worthwhile consideration.
Our compostable bags provide an option with several advantages.

The bags are a cloudy white colour throughout, this does mean it will not be able to show off your product but this is one compromise with using compostable bags.
To help differentiate between polythene bags and compostable bags, these have a print all over to inform the recipient of the qualities of this bag and help ensure the bag is disposed of correctly.
The print reads as follows "Compostable for a better world...Material Conforms To EN 13432"
How to store?
Due to the nature of this product, it is vital that the product is not stored near heat sources, sunlight, or humidity. The product should be used within 6 months.
For best performance store between the following:
Temperature 17-23
Humidity 35-55%
How to use?
The bags are suitable for heat sealing, which allows you to enclose your items, but the bags are 20 microns thick, which is suitable for light protection, dust and dirt protectors etc.
How to dispose?
The compostable bags are designed for disposal in industrial compost units, taking approx 90 days.
You can compost the bags at home, but it will take more than 90 days.
If the bags end up in a landfill site, the lack of oxygen and moisture dramatically slows down the time taken to break down the product. This is best avoided for environmental reasons.
